Information we collect

We collect the following information:

• Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, email, call, or text us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, event details (such as the date, venue, city, guest count, and the services you are interested in), and the content of your message.
• Calls and text messages. The content of calls and texts you exchange with our business line, including, where applicable, call recordings and transcripts we create so we can capture your request accurately. We disclose recording at the start of a recorded call.
• Usage information. Basic technical information your browser sends when you visit the site, such as IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view, used to operate and improve the site.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• respond to your inquiry and answer your questions;
• provide, schedule, and perform our DJ and event services;
• follow up about your event and send service updates;
• maintain our records and operate our business; and
• comply with legal obligations.

Text messaging and mobile data

When you provide your mobile number or contact our business line, you may receive text messages from Golden Date related to your inquiry and event. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who support our services, such as our SMS provider, is permitted solely to deliver those services. All categories of data sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, and that information is never shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate, bound by confidentiality and acting only on our behalf. These include our telephony and SMS provider, our email and workspace provider, our website hosting and database providers, and an AI provider we use to help draft and organize responses.
• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of people and property.

As stated above, text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to respond to you, provide services, and meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping requirements, then delete or de-identify it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. California residents have these rights under the CCPA and CPRA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
